I love few things better than sharing my love of stories, poems, and the music of words with children. In the past few years, I have had the privilege of visiting elementary schools, armed with my Story Bag, a drum, my favorite poems, and yes– a puppet or two.  Often, I send ahead one or two of my stories (and a writing prompt if wanted), so classrooms have a chance to read and discuss before my visit.
